With a common passion for wine from the beautiful island of Hvar, Croatia, Sara and Zoran founded Hvarwine.
The island of Hvar holds some of the most celebrated winemakers in Croatia who are known for their diversity and passion for winemaking. In our webshop, you can find wine from some of our favourite winemakers on the island. There’s something for every palate, whether you like a fruity white, complex orange, or full-bodied red. Hvarwine offers something for all preferences and occasions and we ship all over the EU.
Despite 2500 years of wine production history and 130 indigenous grape varieties, Croatian wine has remained relatively unknown to regular consumers worldwide. In 2019, Sara Rasmussen and Zoran Pejović founded Hvarwine to showcase Croatian - and specifically Hvar-based - wine to the world.
